DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

BLOGMAS: MY FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS MOVIES

There's nothing better than chilling with a warm blanket (hot chocolate and snacks at the ready) to watch a Christmas movie is there? This year I've made it my mission to watch as many as possible and have decided to make a list of my all time favourites and the classics that everyone needs to watch this Christmas. A no brainer and my absolute favourite. Elf really is the perfect feel good movie to watch during the festive season and Buddy's love of Christmas is infectious. As a huge lover of Christmas I do feel like I relate to his passion for Christmas and personally think I would have made a great elf, should I have grown up in the North Pole - but hey, I guess that is one talent wasted! Without fail I will always watch this movie, usually multiple times because it never gets old and that is why I've had to put it at the top of this list! Another one for the family and a true classic. The Grinch is a oddly lovable character and the adaption of Dr. Se

BLOGMAS: CHRISTMAS HAS BEGUN!

This weekend consisted of a Christmas preparations trip to Southampton, mostly to get our Christmas tree but there were also a few other bits to do! I know there are pros and cons of getting a real or fake tree but there is something so exciting about going to choose it and being surrounded by the iconic pine scent, it really makes me feel so Christmassy and sort of marks the start of the festive period. You could probably spend hours looking at different trees and trying to decide which is the best looking one but once we had finally agreed we took it back to the car and headed into the town. After getting some lunch I headed to a shops in search of a Christmas jumper, I'm always really picky with the ones I like so I knew it would take up some time. Unfortunately it seemed that a lot of them had sold out but hey I suppose that is the beauty of online shopping isn't it! Luckily it wasn't a complete waste of time as I did spot a few different things that could be po

BLOGMAS: NOVEMBER MONTHLY FAVOURITES

So it's officially December and my favourite month of the year! This is my first year blogging around Christmas and I'm going to attempt to do some form of Blogmas, my intention is to do the '12 days of Blogmas' but we'll see if I stick to that. Anyway here is day 1! I found it hard to come up with a favourites list for November as I've mostly been sticking to what I know, but there are a few things I wanted to share! Beauty - Aussie Conditioner has always a firm favourite for me but I hadn't used it for a while so grabbed a little travel size and well let's just say, I'm going to be needing a bigger bottle! I felt like my hair felt a little dry and this conditioner was the perfect pick me up, my is left feeling so smooth and smelling absolutely amazing! I used the 3 Minute Miracle one but there are a few varieties, depending on what you need. Food -  I'm currently obsessed with Lindt Lindor balls, and to be honest you can't really b

4 QUICK AND EASY HAIRSTYLES

There are so many different types of things you can try out on your hair, regardless of the length but today I've decided to go back to basics! I love the beach waves look, it's so effortless and looks great on both long and short hair. I have naturally wavy hair but in order to tame it I will let it dry naturally almost completely and then I will use a little water and scrunch up the ends, almost to make them bounce. Not too much so that your hair is dripping again and I only go about half way up as I prefer the upper section of my hair to remain straight. Sometimes I'll actually use my straighteners on the top to give a more polished look as well If you have naturally straight hair and find that waves or curves drop out before the day is over then I would definitely recommend using salt spray. I love the Schwarzkopf got2b Beach Matt Salt Spray  which is only £3 on Amazon! One of the best quick hairstyles is of course a quick up do. Now I know that all of us have our o

AUTUMN JUMPER HAUL #2

Since I didn't include all of my jumpers in my last Autumn haul, I thought I would do it today as it has definitely got chillier recently! I love this time of the year when it's starting to feel Christmassy and you can wear all the cosy jumpers! Like before I will similar jumpers to the ones I have featured, as these exact ones probably aren't available now! This Black and White striped jumper goes perfectly with jeans for a simple and sophisticated look. It's definitely a slightly tighter fit so if you like more over sized jumpers I'd recommend you go up a size or two! This was from H&M a while ago now, for about £15 but I'm sure you can find similar from a few places as stripes are so in right now! I like both of these options on Dorothy Perkins and Asos . I love wearing thinner jumpers at Autumn when the temperature is dropping, they're so easy to chuck on and you can layer up as well if needed. This dusky pink jumper was a great bargain from go

BABY NAME TAG

Now I am definitely not planning to have any kids until many many years down the line, however I have seen 'The Baby Tag' grow in popularity and thought I'd give it a go today! I'm not sure where this started and I do not take credit for these questions but good on you! I'm really picky and indecisive with names (I would literally spend hours just choosing a name for a Nintendog back in the day) so naming an actual physical human is something I find very difficult, however I gave it my best shot! Here is a selection of things I kept from when I was a baby! 1) Favourite name from UK top 100 (2017) Amelia & Archie - I don't particularly like to choose names beginning with the same letter but I really like these names and think they would suit someone throughout their life, there are always those names that you associate purely with young kids or elderly people but I think these are pretty versatile. 2) Least favourite from UK top 100 (2017)

OCTOBER MONTHLY FAVOURITES

Happy November everyone! I sort of feel like I spend this entire month counting down the days until December as I'm a lover of Christmas but I'm looking forward to the weather getting crisper. October seems to have flown by but here are some of my favourites from the month! Food - Not the healthiest option but I love to snack on some Sensations Poppadoms whilst watching some Netflix. I had eaten the Lime and Coriander Chutney ones multiple times, however recently I had the Mango and Red Chilli flavour and I have to say I am a big fan of both! The poppadoms are a nice change from your conventional bag of crisps and I love both flavour combinations. I usually share them with my boyfriend and we always end up racing through them! Buy it now! ^ Music - After taking time off to write music I was so glad to see that Sam Smith had released new music. Technically 'Too Good at Goodbyes' was actually released in September but I've been loving it throughout October,
