DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

WHAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY

As you may know from my previous post, it was my birthday recently and as I always enjoy reading what gifts other people received, I thought I would share mine too! As I get older I find it increasingly harder to decide what I actually want so I'm so grateful for everything I did get! Bath Set One of my presents from my sisters was this bath set from the Scandinavian brand Hugg. Little sets like this one are the ideal birthday gift for when you don't want anything in particular and I've never used anything from them so I'm excited to try it out! I also think the packaging is so pretty, it's pretty minimalistic but that's definitely the sort of thing I'm into at the moment. The set contains a 100ml bath soak and body lotion and is only £8 in  Waitrose  at the moment! Diffuser My sisters also gave me a  diffuser  from Fired Earth in the scent Assam and White Cedar. I'd never heard of this brand before but I absolutely love their packaging a

BIRTHDAY TRIP TO LONDON

Last Saturday I turned 19 and to celebrate, my boyfriend kindly paid for a trip to London. So on the Friday we morning, we made the journey from our little town to the busy streets of city life. The journey actually went really quickly, (around 2 hours) though we were both very hungry when we got there! We stayed in The Grange St. Pauls hotel which was absolutely gorgeous and I would 100% recommend it to anyone. The room itself was a perfect size - spacious but still felt cosy and the bed was super comfortable, something I was very appreciative after the long day! However my favourite part and one of the reasons I chose this hotel were the leisure facilities. The pool itself was amazing and it was so nice to be able to use it on the Friday afternoon and again on the Saturday morning before we checked out. There was also a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a gym, as well as a spa, which you could book various treatments at. Unfortunately we didn't really use too many of these

FEBRUARY MONTHLY FAVOURITES

After January dragging on forever, February literally seemed to fly by! I'm pretty glad though as March is my birthday month, so mad that I'll be 19 soon! Anyway, despite it being a short month I've still got some favourites to share! Experience - So I had to start by talking about how lovely it was to meet my new baby cousin, Aya earlier this month! She was born on the 3rd of February so my family and I went up to Bristol to go see her and oh my, she was so tiny and adorable! It was also lovely to catch up with my Uncle, Auntie and Aya's big brother who has just turned 3. He is at that really funny, cheeky stage and was obsessed with playing with my hair which involved spreading it across my face so it looked liked a 'spiderweb'! Music - I've recently loved listening to Dua Lipa, especially whilst walking to and from work. Her music has that really refreshing sound, definitely been a good year for her, hasn't it! If you haven't listened to any

MY JEWELLERY COLLECTION

I wouldn't say I'm massively into jewellery - you won't see me with an arm full of bracelets and I don't even have my ears pierced but I do have a few minimalistic bits that I love and enjoy wearing so I thought I'd share them with you today! Pandora Entwined Hearts Ring  This was a gift from my boyfriend on my 16th birthday and I have worn it every day since, in fact, I can't really imagine not wearing it now! We had only been together for 6 months and after being together for well over 3 years, it is definitely one of my most special pieces of jewellery. It is so subtle and simple that it can easily be dressed up or worn more casually which I absolutely love and I think the combination of the silver and gold is gorgeous. Check it out here . Pandora March Droplet Birthstone Ring Another birthday present, however, this one was from my Aunt and Uncle. They gave it to me on my 18th birthday so I've almost had it for a year now, I loved the idea

JANUARY MONTHLY FAVOURITES

Well, January seemed to last a lifetime, didn't it! I think it is because the Christmas period is always pretty fast paced and exciting so when we reach January the days just seem to drag. However, we have finally reached February so I thought I'd share some of my favourites from the last month. Movie/Music - This wouldn't be a favourites post if I didn't mention The Greatest Showman now would it, and I have to say I have definitely enjoyed being a part of the hype! I finally went to see the movie a few weekends ago and it met my expectations for sure so I can't wait for it to be released properly so I can watch it again and again! Obviously, a huge part of any musical is the soundtrack and The Greatest Showman songs have been on repeat ever since. They are so catchy and you can't help but sing them, how amazing would it be to have a part in those performances! If you'd like to know more about my thoughts then you can check out the review I posted

THE GREATEST SHOWMAN REVIEW

Image credit So like me, I expect you have either been to see The Greatest Showman recently or you have at least heard people talking about it a lot! As soon I saw the trailer I knew I definitely wanted to watch it, I love a musical and once I'd heard people say great things about it then there was no other option than to arrange a trip to the cinema! Anyway, my family, boyfriend and I headed to Dorchester last weekend and went to the Plaza - a great little cinema with a gorgeous Art Deco vibe. We've been to see quite a few movies there and I have to say it is a great experience, their prices are so affordable and I don't think I've ever been to a cinema with such great leg room! Trust me, when you have it, you appreciate it! Supporting local businesses is always important so if you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend you check out the Plaza ! Now, back to the movie itself! Since a lot of people had already watched it, I had a certain expectation
