DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

MARCH MONTHLY FAVOURITES

Well, March is always a busy month for me, with multiple birthdays that our family celebrate and I always find that I have more plans in general. Perhaps it's due to the start of spring and whenever there is the first glimpse of some nicer weather, people tend to get out more! Nonetheless, I thought I'd share some things I've enjoyed throughout the month. Spring Time  We've had a few sunny days recently which tends to mean I go out more and despite not going to a garden centre for a least a few years, I've been to 4 in the last two weeks for various reasons. The first two times were just quick visits and then on Mother's Day we went to Porton Garden, Aquatics and Pets Centre and I did enjoy looking at the various animals, especially all the turtles as they're my favourite animal! We then went on to Wilton House Garden Centre as my Mum wanted to buy some different plants, I also decided that I definitely want to grow multiple fruits when I have my

MAY MONTHLY FAVOURITES

Isn't it mad that we're halfway through 2018 already, or as I like to think - halfway to Christmas again, haha! I'm sure I always say this, but it really feels like this year has gone by so quickly! May was a pretty good month, we had some gorgeous weather which always puts me in a great mood but I also find that when the sun is out, blogging tends to take a backseat which I really want to improve on over June! Anyway, here are my favourites for May! Lifestyle In my last favourites, I touched upon how I wanted to keep up with my Spring photography and like I just mentioned, we've been pretty lucky with the weather in May so that's something I've enjoyed doing a lot! It's been really lovely being able to spend more time outside and I've made the most of it by going on regular walks, it's a great way to relax and clear your mind and I've been able to take some great photos too! Beauty There isn't really any new makeup I've

APRIL MONTHLY FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe it is May already! It does not feel like it has been a year since my starting the exam season for my A Levels, good luck to everyone starting any exams by the way! Anyway, April went by pretty quickly and the weather was all over the place, however like always there were definitely some things I enjoyed through the month! Spring Photography - The weather has certainly been all over the place however we had some really lovely days at the end of April and I managed to get out and about to enjoy it! I love taking photos and my hometown has some gorgeous spots so I couldn't resist going on an evening walk, I really hope I can build up a nice collection of photos in the coming months! Fashion - Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a large collection of striped tops in my wardrobe. At this time of the year when the weather is a bit warmer, a striped t-shirt is a staple for me, they're so simple but can add a bit of interest to a pl

ACTION CAMERA & WIRELESS CHARGER REVIEW : PURFECT SOLUXIONS

I was recently contacted by Philex Electronic Ltd, a leading brand that produces a range of different electronic equipment. They have branched out to create an online presence called 'Purfect Soluxions' which involves exclusive content being sold directly through Amazon and a platform in which they can share and create content with a number of influencers. I am a huge lover of technology and love trying new bits out. You can find a number of different products that I've talked about in my posts so I was really excited about this collaboration opportunity!  I have two products to review today, however, first I would just like to commend the company itself. The efficient and informative emails, as well as the super quick arrival of the products, made it a pleasure to work with them!  Lexi 4k Action Camera I've always enjoyed experimenting with different cameras and elements of photography and an action camera is something I've not prop

A QUICK AND EASY CHOCOLATEY TREAT

One of my all time favourite recipes are the simple 'Easter Nests', I've enjoyed making them since I was a child so I thought I'd share my recipe! Just as to begin with, I understand that Easter has already been and gone...but I couldn't resist not posting about the ones I made the other day and you can enjoy them all year round! So why do I like them so much? Well firstly, they're ridiculously easy to make and require only a few ingredients. They are also very adaptable, I used Rice Krispies but Shredded Wheat, Cornflakes and other cereals will work just as well! I obviously put Mini Eggs on the top of mine, however, you could leave them plain or choose a topping of your choice! This recipe is also a great one if your making things with a group of friends, siblings (like me) or especially with younger children as it's simple and fun! I definitely think they're ideal for Easter/Spring birthday parties or if you're just having guests round sin

MARCH MONTHLY FAVOURITES

March is always a pretty busy time, it's known as the 'birthday month' in our family because between the 1st and 21st, 7 of us have celebrated our birthdays! This means that there is a lot of family time, a lot of presents and a lot of cake which is a pretty good mix - plus there are loads of things I've been loving this month so I'll get started! Weather Something I had to mention in this monthly favourites was the rather strange weather we had! We'd not had any decent snow since 2013 and then we had multiple snow days in March, so I think it's fair to say that Spring was delayed! I actually really like the snow, it's so amazing to look out at, especially when it is untouched! Although I did slip over on the ice, straight on my back...so that wasn't as great! Fashion  This month I have worn my denim jacket constantly, I don't know how I've lived without one for so long! Besides the random snow days, we've definitely had
