DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...

STATEMENT MADE JEWELLERY REVIEW

I was recently lucky enough to be gifted a necklace from Statement Made Jewellery as part of their 2019 blogger programme, I'm really hoping to connect with more brands this year so I'm very glad to have this opportunity!

Statement Made Jewellery is owned by Steph, a qualified gemmologist and you can read more about how it all began here. I always enjoy discovering new jewellery brands and after checking out their website, I saw that they have some really unique and lovely pieces - including necklaces, bracelets, anklets and rings.

I was asked if the product they sent me could be a surprise which I was definitely up for as I don't tend to get many surprises really! Yesterday a parcel arrived containing a small pouch which was printed with their logo, as well as a certificate of authenticity and care instructions. I'd been looking forward to seeing which piece of jewellery I'd received and was very pleased with the result as I was given a gold necklace with the Aquamarine March birthstone and a small pineapple charm. I always prefer delicate and minimalistic jewellery so this is definitely my style and pineapples are actually one of my favourite fruits so it's a great design for me. I definitely think this would make the perfect summer necklace as pineapples always make me think of that time fo the year! It's great that you can make it a bit more personalised with your birthstone and I love the little pop of colour too, I know that you can also choose certain designs that allow you to add an initial charm too which is also a nice idea.

The necklace itself is really good quality and this one, along with their other pieces such as their Zodiac of engraved jewellery would make lovely gift ideas! They also do free worldwide shipping which I think is great and often have discounts so be sure to check that out too. A big thank you to Statement Made Jewellery for sending me this gorgeous necklace and whilst it was gifted to me, all of my opinions are completely my own!

  2. Sweet necklace! How nice to receive a cute piece of jewelry in the post! I will have to look them up and see what else they have. I have an accessories line and need to start thinking about developing a blogger program as it seems to be a win-win for both sides!

1 YEAR OF BLOGGING!

I did it, a whole year of blogging! I'm so glad that I stuck at it because I enjoy it so much and can't believe how much progress I've made with it all. Not only that, but I've connected to so many people all around the world which is just amazing, I can't wait to see what the next year working on my blog brings! Anyway, here is a sum up of my blogging journey so far. What I've achieved - Just over 50 posts which is equal to roughly 1 per week, and I'm definitely pleased with that! I started off slow and could have probably done a lot more but at least I've got something to work towards! - Hit 1.5k+ followers on my blog Twitter account and also had 30.5k impressions in my best month - Reached 200+ followers on my blog Instagram account after starting to properly use it in May - Had 2562 viewers on Pinterest in one day and an average of around 1000 - Over 9000 pageviews, the fact that I'm on the way to 10,000 blows my mind! -...

THE THROWBACK TAG

These posts are one of my favourites to read so I thought it was time to do another! Here are my answers to the Throwback Tag questions! 1) What year were you born? 1999 2) What did you look like when you were younger? (share a picture!) Here are a few of me when I was little, I have to admit, I was a fan of the camera! 3) What TV shows did you watch when you were young? When I was really young I loved Bob The Builder and Bear in the Big Blue House & then when I was a bit older I was obsessed with Disney Channel - my favourite was probably Wizards of Waverly Place! 4) What toys did you play with and what was the name of your favourite toy? I liked playing with Polly Pocket a lot, and Tamagotchi's oh my, they were great! When I was a little older I loved playing on my Nintendo DS mostly! One of my favourite toys was a bear called Picnic!  5) What songs did you love when you were young? I was obsessed with the song 'The Tide is Hig...
