DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...

PANDA SWEETS REVIEW

For this post, I was kindly gifted a Pick N Mix box from Panda Sweets to review but as with any gifted post, all opinions are my own. I'm also very pleased to say that you can use the code ' LORNA' for 15% off of anything on the Panda Sweets website until 31/7/2021!  I was really impressed by the amount of sweets you get in the box, it's pretty hefty at 1kg and is super affordable at only £7.49! Imagining getting anywhere near that amount for the same price at the cinema!! You get a great selection - including jelly/chewy/fizzy sweets, as well as some chocolate and marshmallows so there should be something for everyone. The fizzy sweets are my personal favourites so I definitely didn't share any of them though! As there is such a huge range there are probably sweets you haven't tried before, I remember some sweets that intrigued me when getting pick n mix but I always ended up sticking to my favourites! The contents of this box is a surprise so you get the cha...

SUMMER RECIPE IDEAS

Magazines used in photo: Ocado Life, Tesco, Homemaker I feel like we're having a proper summer here in England this year, (though typically it's been raining today) and when it's hot out I always like to have foods that are full of flavour, colour and are pretty easy to make. However, I often find myself eating the same things so I've made a Pinterest board with recipes I want to try out and thought I'd share some of my favourites! Breakfast So to start off the day I've gone for something that you probably shouldn't have every day but if you paired it with some fruit then it would make a delicious breakfast to wake up to! This recipe is for Nutella Brioche which just sounds great, doesn't it and it's something that lots of people can eat. It does take a while to prepare but the cook time is only 40 minutes, which I think is totally worth it!  Credit to Dina from Simply Home Cooked for the recipe and image Lunch Instead of ...

APRIL MONTHLY FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe it is May already! It does not feel like it has been a year since my starting the exam season for my A Levels, good luck to everyone starting any exams by the way! Anyway, April went by pretty quickly and the weather was all over the place, however like always there were definitely some things I enjoyed through the month! Spring Photography - The weather has certainly been all over the place however we had some really lovely days at the end of April and I managed to get out and about to enjoy it! I love taking photos and my hometown has some gorgeous spots so I couldn't resist going on an evening walk, I really hope I can build up a nice collection of photos in the coming months! Fashion - Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a large collection of striped tops in my wardrobe. At this time of the year when the weather is a bit warmer, a striped t-shirt is a staple for me, they're so simple but can add a bit of interest to a pl...
