MY 2019 GOALS

I'm not one to make resolutions particularly but I do think it's quite useful to make some goals, though it doesn't necessarily have to be January!

→  Start a Creative Arts degree - This year I plan to begin studying with the OCA, this is part of the University for the Creative Arts but you can do it from home which will allow me to continue working as well!
→ Work with more companies - I've had a couple companies reach out to me already this year so I'm really looking forward to working with more brands to create content. → Create a list of book ideas - Writing a book is on my bucket list and although it's not something I plan to do yet, I would like to think of some potential ideas and themes. → Guest posts - I've done a few guest posts previously and would like to do more to build up my portfolio. I'd also like to contribute to places like Buzzfeed since it's a platform I use frequently.

→ 4000 followers on Twitter - I'm almost at 2500 so 4000 is…

THINKING ABOUT WRITING A BOOK

For quite a while I've always said that I'd love to write a book someday, it started when I was much younger and would often write different stories. Often they involved boarding school because I was obsessed with Enid Blyton's 'Mallory Towers' series, but I'd usually write 20 pages and then would forget about it until I found it in one of my many notebooks a year later. English was always one of my favourite subjects at school and I looked forward to writing different things, however as I got older my love of reading definitely subsided. In primary school, I read a lot in my spare time however when I got older and had other hobbies I stopped reading as much. I also think that having to read certain books when studying had an impact on not enjoying it as much anymore, especially after doing an English Literature A Level.

Anyway, I think writing a book would be really rewarding and a great way to combine my desire to write as well as my creativity. When thinkin…

HANDPICKED BERRIES, HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS & HOT CHOCOLATES

Something I've wanted to do for a while is to go to a pick your own farm. I didn't get a chance to go in the summer but we decided to check out the Ansty Farm for my Mum's birthday just to have a wander around and see what was left. The Ansty PYO and Farm Shop is only 10 minutes down the road from us and I really don't know why we've not been before!

As it's October I knew there wouldn't be a massive choice of things to pick, however, the main thing I wanted to find were raspberries and luckily there were still some about. Due to the recent bad weather, the people working there weren't sure if there would be much to pick but after having a walk around we actually managed to find some really nice raspberries.

We also were able to get some golden raspberries, which I'd never had before but was definitely intrigued. It was quite strange to see yellow raspberries but they tasted pretty similar to the usual ones and I'm surprised you don't seem …

THE AUTUMN TAG

I haven't done a tag in quite a while and always find them great fun, so I was pleased when I saw that Michael had tagged me in The Autumn Tag! Essentially this tag is a set of questions all about, you guessed it - Autumn! Definitely go and check out Michael's post here as he had some great answers, thanks again for tagging me!
What signifies the start of Autumn for you?
Once it gets chillier out, the evenings get darker earlier and the leaves start changing. Also by October 1st I always feel ready for Autumn.
What is your favourite Autumn scent?
I love things like cinnamon, cedarwood, black pepper - anything spicy, woody or earthy really.
What is your favourite Autumn colour?
Burgundy is one of my favourite colours this time of the year, a lot of my outfits tend to include something burgundy around Autumn. I also love all the colours the leaves turn too, it looks so pretty!                                                Are you a fan of a Pumpkin Spice Latte?
This may come as a…

BLOGBOX EDITION 2

Much to my surprise I recently won a giveaway to receive the new Edition 2 BlogBox, I was so pleased when I saw that I'd won - firstly because all the contents look gorgeous but also because I never seem to win things like that haha! I think the last time I entered and won a competition was one from a girly magazine when I was much younger and I won a Nintendo ds game! I received my parcel from BlogBox yesterday which was packaged wonderfully and wanted to share the contents!
For anyone who hasn't heard of BlogBox it's a subscription service designed to help bloggers, each box contains bits and pieces like planning tools, photo props and discount codes. The service is run by the lovely bloggers Steff and Sam, who also happen to be Mother and Daughter! What I really like about BlogBox is how affordable it is, you can buy the Edition 2 box for just £9.50 or the Edition 1 box is currently on sale for only £5.50! Anyway, here are the things that I received.
