DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

APRIL MONTHLY FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe it is May already! It does not feel like it has been a year since my starting the exam season for my A Levels, good luck to everyone starting any exams by the way! Anyway, April went by pretty quickly and the weather was all over the place, however like always there were definitely some things I enjoyed through the month! Spring Photography - The weather has certainly been all over the place however we had some really lovely days at the end of April and I managed to get out and about to enjoy it! I love taking photos and my hometown has some gorgeous spots so I couldn't resist going on an evening walk, I really hope I can build up a nice collection of photos in the coming months! Fashion - Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a large collection of striped tops in my wardrobe. At this time of the year when the weather is a bit warmer, a striped t-shirt is a staple for me, they're so simple but can add a bit of interest to a pl

THE VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD

A slightly more different post today as I was kindly nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award! I'm still fairly new to the blogging scene so to be nominated for things like this is always a lovely surprise, thank you so much to Bella! Her blog - Life With Bella N is a fab one and you should definitely check it out! The Versatile Blogger Award is an excellent way to find out some things about your fellow bloggers, as well as discovering new ones. If you are nominated, there are some basic rules: - Thank those that nominated you - Share 7 facts about yourself - Nominate 15 other bloggers 7 Facts About Me:  1) I'd like to be taller - I'm about 5ft 1-2 so yes I have the daily struggles of clothes being too long, people thinking you're much younger than you are and just constantly having to look up. I don't hate being short, I'm used to it now and there are definitely some perks, however I would like an extra few inches! 2) I love do

5 MUST HAVE APPS

Since there seems to be an app for everything these days, I've made a list of the apps I have been loving and using recently! 1) BuzzFeed - So I'm pretty sure most people have heard of BuzzFeed (if not, why?!), but basically it's an entertainment platform that provides news, life hacks, recipes, quizzes etc. I'll tell you what though, whatever you use BuzzFeed for, it is great for procrastinating! I'll be honest, I have probably gone through the most random and pointless quizzes on there but hey if you're ever on a long journey or something then it can be a laugh! Plus there's also tonnes of helpful tips, videos and creative ideas that can provide so much inspiration to try out something new! 2) Notebook - This app is absolutely amazing for organising things and I've started using it to plan my blog posts. Like me, I'm sure that finding new and engaging blog post ideas can be challenging so this is a great way to note things down whenever you

10 CHILDHOOD SNACKS I'D BRING BACK

I was talking with my family recently about snacks that have been discontinued in the U.K and have come up with a list of things I would love to see back on our shelves! Admittedly most of these are chocolate but that's only because there were so many to choose from! 1) Mingles - These are at the top of my list because these were my absolute favourite to have at Christmas time. Bendick's still do some minty alternatives but I'm sorry, why were these ever taken away?!  2) Calippo Shots - As a child this would always be my choice when the sun decided to show itself. Everyone I knew would also see how quickly they could eat them which almost always ended in brain freeze! I was surprised to see they had been discontinued though.  3) Mars Delight - I'm pretty sure these were never around long anyway but I would still love to have another. It was just a much lighter and crispier version than an actual Mars Bar, and sometimes that's exactly what you need.
