DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...

BRISTOL ZOO

I recently visited Bristol Zoo and thought I'd post a few shots I managed to capture whilst I was there! Normally when I go to the zoo the lions always seem to be out of sight somewhere but we were really lucky as they came right up to the glass - my first shot shows just how close we were!

Now the flamingos always make me feel pretty nostalgic, as a 5 year old little girl and lover of pink, these birds were fascinating to me. I had a number of flamingo toys so whenever I see them I always think back to how much I loved them!

The butterfly photo was captured in the walk through butterfly garden, if you haven't been to Bristol Zoo it is essentially a small jungle for butterflies and the occasional bird. It's getting a lot less common to see butterflies in the wild nowadays so to be amongst them flying around was really interesting and there were so many different species.

We were really lucky with the weather and it was a beautiful sunny day, you know the kind where it's warm but not so much that it's unbearable to walk around? Anyway I'd definitely recommend a trip to the zoo this summer, whether it's with your family, friends or like me and you walk around with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Plus there are often great deals on so have a look if you want to save some money (obviously, who wouldn't!)

1 YEAR OF BLOGGING!

I did it, a whole year of blogging! I'm so glad that I stuck at it because I enjoy it so much and can't believe how much progress I've made with it all. Not only that, but I've connected to so many people all around the world which is just amazing, I can't wait to see what the next year working on my blog brings! Anyway, here is a sum up of my blogging journey so far. What I've achieved - Just over 50 posts which is equal to roughly 1 per week, and I'm definitely pleased with that! I started off slow and could have probably done a lot more but at least I've got something to work towards! - Hit 1.5k+ followers on my blog Twitter account and also had 30.5k impressions in my best month - Reached 200+ followers on my blog Instagram account after starting to properly use it in May - Had 2562 viewers on Pinterest in one day and an average of around 1000 - Over 9000 pageviews, the fact that I'm on the way to 10,000 blows my mind! -...

APRIL MONTHLY FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe it is May already! It does not feel like it has been a year since my starting the exam season for my A Levels, good luck to everyone starting any exams by the way! Anyway, April went by pretty quickly and the weather was all over the place, however like always there were definitely some things I enjoyed through the month! Spring Photography - The weather has certainly been all over the place however we had some really lovely days at the end of April and I managed to get out and about to enjoy it! I love taking photos and my hometown has some gorgeous spots so I couldn't resist going on an evening walk, I really hope I can build up a nice collection of photos in the coming months! Fashion - Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a large collection of striped tops in my wardrobe. At this time of the year when the weather is a bit warmer, a striped t-shirt is a staple for me, they're so simple but can add a bit of interest to a pl...
