As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023! I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...
It's so weird that we're getting close to it being halfway through the year already and I know it's a little late but I do have a good variety of things to share so here are my monthly favourites for April!
Movie
Like a lot of people, I recently went to see Avengers Endgame at the cinema. Technically I went on May 1st but as it was released in April and I didn't want to wait for my May favourites I thought I'd just put it in here! Anyway, I thought it was a really great film, I enjoyed Infinity War so was definitely intrigued to see how it panned out! Personally, the 3 hours went by pretty quickly and I liked the action you expect from a superhero film, alongside snippets of humour and of course the deeper story (no spoilers here). If you've not seen it then I'd recommend it for sure!

Music
I've been a fan of Bastille pretty much from the beginning and I'd probably say they're my favourite band so it's certainly not a new thing! However, I've really loved their recent singles 'Doom Days' and 'Joy' and have been listening to them constantly! I'm very much looking forward to the release of their new album too (also titled Doom Days) and I'm sure I'll have it on repeat! I've also been listening to Jess and Gabriel Conte's newest album 'Under The Covers Vol 3' as I love all their previous covers so was pleased to see they'd released this one! I think my favourite on this one is probably the Love Yourself (Better Now). You can check out the album here!
Seasonal
It feels like Easter was ages ago now but we had some really great weather so it was a lovely day, I actually went on a walk to my Grandparents to make the most of the sun and was able to take some photos too! Also, you can't beat some Easter chocolate, can you?! Personally, my favourites are the good old Creme Egg, Mini Eggs and the Oreo Egg n Spoons, Cadbury chocolate is the best in my opinion!

YouTube
I'm always looking for new creators to watch on YouTube and have been enjoying watching Carly and Erin, I'd watched some of their videos before but have been binging their videos recently as I really like their style and humour. I've also watched quite a lot of Steph Pappas' content as she makes some really fun videos that often relate to food and that's right up my street!
Education
For anyone that saw my last post, you'll know I started a Creative Arts open degree recently and have really liked getting back into the habit of studying. I've always loved learning and enjoyed school, also it feels great to have something to work towards! It's also meant I've been able to get more creative, for example, I did this watercolour painting of a piece by artist, Sue Smith! If you'd like to know more about my experience so far, then you can check out my previous post here.
Like always, do let me know what sort of things you've been enjoying recently as I'd love to discover something new! Also, please share your opinions of Endgame too if you've seen it, without spoilers of course!
