It's that time of the year again when everyone is trying to think about what to give people for Christmas, as well as making their own wishlists. I thought I'd do a quick post with a range of ideas because I know I always look for posts like this to get some inspiration!

→ Bath or shower set - I mean you can't go wrong can you, they make a great gift and can be used by anyone. I love this set from the brand Hugg that I got from Waitrose.
→ Perfume/Cologne - Also a super simple idea but it's so nice to get something new to wear. Also Fragrance Direct has 70% at the moment!
→ Bath bomb - A good bath is underrated and of course Lush is the ultimate go-to for amazing bath bombs but of course, lots of places sell some lovely ones.
→ Makeup palette - For the makeup lovers, I feel like a palette is a gift that will be appreciated and you can get eyeshadow, contour, highlight etc. James Charles x Morphe Palette is insane for those who like to experiment with colour but goo…

One of my all time favourite recipes are the simple 'Easter Nests', I've enjoyed making them since I was a child so I thought I'd share my recipe! Just as to begin with, I understand that Easter has already been and gone...but I couldn't resist not posting about the ones I made the other day and you can enjoy them all year round!

So why do I like them so much?

Well firstly, they're ridiculously easy to make and require only a few ingredients. They are also very adaptable, I used Rice Krispies but Shredded Wheat, Cornflakes and other cereals will work just as well! I obviously put Mini Eggs on the top of mine, however, you could leave them plain or choose a topping of your choice! This recipe is also a great one if your making things with a group of friends, siblings (like me) or especially with younger children as it's simple and fun! I definitely think they're ideal for Easter/Spring birthday parties or if you're just having guests round since most people will probably enjoy it and they look pretty cute when they're laid out!

But regardless of all those reasons, they just taste damn good and who can't get on board that?!

Here are the ones I made (with some vague help from my sisters!) I have to admit, we've already tucked into a few but I resisted the rest so I could take these photos! I sort of winged the recipe as it's quite hard to mess up but to follow the steps I took just head down below!

300g of Milk Chocolate (your choice, though some chocolate doesn't always melt as well)
160g of Rice Krispies or an alternative cereal
3 tbsp of Golden Syrup
42 Mini Eggs (enough for 2 per nest) or alternative toppings

(makes 24)

1) Break up chocolate and place in a heatproof bowl, melt over a pan of water. (Be careful not to let the water boil)
2) Pour the melted chocolate over the bowl of Rice Krispies and stir in so they are all covered.
3) Add 3 tbsp of Golden Syrup and stir in thoroughly.
4) Spoon the contents into cake cases and place 2 Mini Eggs on top of each one.
(push them down slightly so they stay in place)
5) Leave to set in the fridge for approximately 1 hour.
6) Enjoy!

Now, I'm off to enjoy one of the ones I made, let me know if you do make them or if they're something you enjy around this time of the year!

Last Saturday I turned 19 and to celebrate, my boyfriend kindly paid for a trip to London. So on the Friday we morning, we made the journey from our little town to the busy streets of city life. The journey actually went really quickly, (around 2 hours) though we were both very hungry when we got there!

We stayed in The Grange St. Pauls hotel which was absolutely gorgeous and I would 100% recommend it to anyone. The room itself was a perfect size - spacious but still felt cosy and the bed was super comfortable, something I was very appreciative after the long day! However my favourite part and one of the reasons I chose this hotel were the leisure facilities. The pool itself was amazing and it was so nice to be able to use it on the Friday afternoon and again on the Saturday morning before we checked out. There was also a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a gym, as well as a spa, which you could book various treatments at. Unfortunately we didn't really use too many of these as most…

March is always a pretty busy time, it's known as the 'birthday month' in our family because between the 1st and 21st, 7 of us have celebrated our birthdays! This means that there is a lot of family time, a lot of presents and a lot of cake which is a pretty good mix - plus there are loads of things I've been loving this month so I'll get started!
Something I had to mention in this monthly favourites was the rather strange weather we had! We'd not had any decent snow since 2013 and then we had multiple snow days in March, so I think it's fair to say that Spring was delayed! I actually really like the snow, it's so amazing to look out at, especially when it is untouched! Although I did slip over on the ice, straight on my that wasn't as great!

This month I have worn my denim jacket constantly, I don't know how I've lived without one for so long! Besides the random snow days, we've definitely had a few milder and m…

When I was really young I loved Bob The Builder and Bear in the Big Blue House & then when I was a bit older I was obsessed with Disney Channel - my favourite was probably Wizards of Waverly Place!
4) What toys did you play with and what was the name of your favourite toy?
I liked playing with Polly Pocket a lot, and Tamagotchi's oh my, they were great! When I was a little older I loved playing on my Nintendo DS mostly! One of my favourite toys was a bear called Picnic!
5) What songs did you love when you were young?
