DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...

AUTUMN JUMPER HAUL

It's finally that time of the year when everyone gets their jumpers back out and I have to say, I have been waiting!! I thought I would try something new today so here is a sort of Autumn haul thingy of some of my favourite jumpers. None of these jumpers are recent purchases so you can't get an identical match, however I have done some nosing around to find something similar!

The first jumper is actually more red rather than purple toned in real life but burgundy is one of my favourite colours to wear at this time of the year. I picked this up in New Look for around £15-£20 a couple of years ago and it has become a wardrobe staple for me. Obviously you can't get the same one but this Pull&Bear one on Asos is pretty close and it's only £19.99.

This next jumper is much lighter than the rest and is definitely great around the start of Autumn when the temperature starts to drop. As it is much thinner it is also easy to wear to layer with coats, plus white goes with everything so you really can't go wrong! I got this as a Christmas present so I'm not too sure on the price, however I do know it was from H&M. Unfortunately I couldn't find any white boxy style jumpers that were similar, however this one from Pretty Little Thing doesn't look to thick and chunky!

My grey sweatshirt is always something I grab if I need an extra layer over a t-shirt. I really like the text on the front as it's something different from the other typical knitted jumpers, I seem to remember them being really popular a while ago and I think I must have got mine around then too. This particular one was from New Look but Pull&Bear currently have some really cool sweatshirts, ranging from around £20-£30, that have different text/logos on them.

So far all of the jumpers have been on the lower end of the price range, this next one from Jack Wills however is more expensive at £89. You can definitely feel the improvement in quality and it keeps me pretty warm so it's worth the price in my opinion! Especially if you need to invest in some more jumpers this autumn! Check out Jack Wills for the jumpers they have in for this season.

I bought this final jumper from Primark in December last year because I loved the dark green colour, it's perfect for the festive season! It's a bit longer than the others so would be great to wear with leggings and hey, you can't get much comfier than that! This was £7 but you can find some slouchy, oversized jumpers for similar prices from Boohoo -  I love their knitwear range because they have so many different styles and colours so I'll definitely be purchasing some soon!

I have a load more jumpers that I also love so I could definitely do a part two to this over the coming months!

1 YEAR OF BLOGGING!

I did it, a whole year of blogging! I'm so glad that I stuck at it because I enjoy it so much and can't believe how much progress I've made with it all. Not only that, but I've connected to so many people all around the world which is just amazing, I can't wait to see what the next year working on my blog brings! Anyway, here is a sum up of my blogging journey so far. What I've achieved - Just over 50 posts which is equal to roughly 1 per week, and I'm definitely pleased with that! I started off slow and could have probably done a lot more but at least I've got something to work towards! - Hit 1.5k+ followers on my blog Twitter account and also had 30.5k impressions in my best month - Reached 200+ followers on my blog Instagram account after starting to properly use it in May - Had 2562 viewers on Pinterest in one day and an average of around 1000 - Over 9000 pageviews, the fact that I'm on the way to 10,000 blows my mind! -...

A QUICK AND EASY CHOCOLATEY TREAT

One of my all time favourite recipes are the simple 'Easter Nests', I've enjoyed making them since I was a child so I thought I'd share my recipe! Just as to begin with, I understand that Easter has already been and gone...but I couldn't resist not posting about the ones I made the other day and you can enjoy them all year round! So why do I like them so much? Well firstly, they're ridiculously easy to make and require only a few ingredients. They are also very adaptable, I used Rice Krispies but Shredded Wheat, Cornflakes and other cereals will work just as well! I obviously put Mini Eggs on the top of mine, however, you could leave them plain or choose a topping of your choice! This recipe is also a great one if your making things with a group of friends, siblings (like me) or especially with younger children as it's simple and fun! I definitely think they're ideal for Easter/Spring birthday parties or if you're just having guests round sin...
