DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

BLOGMAS: CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE

Christmas is approaching so today I thought I'd share my gift guide to hopefully give you inspiration for the people you are buying for this year. I am going to do a combination of gifts for her, gifts for him and then gifts for anyone!

Knitted Jumper - Perfect for this time of the year and something most people would appreciate. Head over to Asos for a huge selection!
Jacket - Another one that is useful for the colder weather, personally I'd like a denim jacket this Christmas but you could also go for a leather, smarter or bomber jacket. Have a look on Topshop for some inspiration!

Shirt - This is definitely something I know my Dad would appreciate and would be a great present if you tend to dress smarter on Christmas day! There are some great choices at John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.
Slippers - Another ideal gift for this time of the year and so cosy, Next have some great ones!
Converse - Another one that is on my list this year, basically a wardrobe staple because they're so comfy! I like the neutral colours best because they go with everything but have a browse on Amazon for all the colours!

Cuff-links - Giving someone a shirt? Why not pair that with some cuff links, this would be an ideal gift for those who often need to dress up for different occasions - Debenhams have a great range.
Smoothie Blender - I'd love a blender this year as I was really into making smoothies a while ago and would love to start experimenting again, I tend to look for ones that also crush ice as then you can also make milkshakes, iced coffees etc. Check our Argos for some ideas.
Coffee Machine - This is something I got for my boyfriend last Christmas and it is such a great gift for those coffee lovers but you can also make tea and hot chocolate in them so it would be appreciated by most people! Amazon has all the different brands!

Watch - Another great gift that can vary depending on your budget, I got one from H.Samuel for my birthday this year and was so pleased with it. I'd definitely recommend it as a present for someone you're finding hard to buy for!
Make up brushes - Also a handy gift idea and something that sometimes people don't want to buy for themselves. I love this gorgeous marble set from Lily England but you can get sets that vary in price drastically!
Eye Palette - These can vary in prices but would be a good gift for those make up lovers out there! My current favourite is the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, buy it here

Perfume - Pretty simple really and a perfect gift idea for people of different ages! Boots or Superdrug have some fab options.
Cologne - Same as above, you just can't really go wrong can you! Check out the stores above or head on over to trusty Amazon, especially if you have Prime and need a last minute idea!
Christmas Socks - A great little extra gift or something for friends, Secret Santa or whatever. You can get sets, fluffy ones, novelty ones - have a look on the SockShop!
Grooming Set - There are some great sets around and you can often find great deals around this time of the year, a great gift for any men in your life. Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on gift sets.

Headset - This is one of the things I'm giving my boyfriend this year and would be the perfect choice for someone who likes gaming! Again, Amazon have plenty of options depending on your budget.
Christmas Pyjamas - A no brainer, something I always like to receive at Christmas! Primark honestly do some amazing Christmas pyjamas!
Jewellery - Perfect if you're buying for someone special or maybe have a higher budget and want to get something from Pandora or Tiffany & Co etc.
Candle - With so many gorgeous scents out there now, a candle will be appreciated by a lot of people! You can get gift sets from Yankee Candle or why not splurge on a luxury brand like Jo Malone?

Graphic Tablet - Something that I've added to my wishlist this year as I love art and being creative so would love to start doing it digitally. Again you've got the obvious iPad pro or you can also get some great alternatives at more affordable prices - have a look at Currys/PC World.
Book - Most people have someone in their life that loves to read a good book, whether it is fiction, biographical, a book of quizzes, a cook book or whatever else you think they might like. A book can be personal to them and is great for relaxing with after stuffing yourself at Christmas dinner! Amazon or Waterstones are your best bet for ideas.
Lush products - Lush is the ultimate Christmas go to gift, whether you give a gift set or just some individual items, they are bound to be loved! Personally I love the Christmas bath bombs they do, this year I really want to try the Christmas Sweater one!

Wallet - Can be given to both men or women but I'd definitely think about giving this to my boyfriend or Dad as you can get some really smart wallets and it is something they might not think about replacing themselves! Asos do a fab range!
Gift Card - A useful gift idea for those people who have everything and are impossible to buy for! Either get one for a store they love or a safer option is maybe one that can be used in various different places!
Chocolate Orange - Terry's Chocolate orange screams Christmas and is the perfect little gift for pretty much everyone!

MARCH MONTHLY FAVOURITES

March is always a pretty busy time, it's known as the 'birthday month' in our family because between the 1st and 21st, 7 of us have celebrated our birthdays! This means that there is a lot of family time, a lot of presents and a lot of cake which is a pretty good mix - plus there are loads of things I've been loving this month so I'll get started! Weather Something I had to mention in this monthly favourites was the rather strange weather we had! We'd not had any decent snow since 2013 and then we had multiple snow days in March, so I think it's fair to say that Spring was delayed! I actually really like the snow, it's so amazing to look out at, especially when it is untouched! Although I did slip over on the ice, straight on my back...so that wasn't as great! Fashion  This month I have worn my denim jacket constantly, I don't know how I've lived without one for so long! Besides the random snow days, we've definitely had

1 YEAR OF BLOGGING!

I did it, a whole year of blogging! I'm so glad that I stuck at it because I enjoy it so much and can't believe how much progress I've made with it all. Not only that, but I've connected to so many people all around the world which is just amazing, I can't wait to see what the next year working on my blog brings! Anyway, here is a sum up of my blogging journey so far. What I've achieved - Just over 50 posts which is equal to roughly 1 per week, and I'm definitely pleased with that! I started off slow and could have probably done a lot more but at least I've got something to work towards! - Hit 1.5k+ followers on my blog Twitter account and also had 30.5k impressions in my best month - Reached 200+ followers on my blog Instagram account after starting to properly use it in May - Had 2562 viewers on Pinterest in one day and an average of around 1000 - Over 9000 pageviews, the fact that I'm on the way to 10,000 blows my mind! -
