As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023! I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff...
I'm not one to make resolutions particularly but I do think it's quite useful to make some goals, though it doesn't necessarily have to be January!
→ Start a Creative Arts degree - This year I plan to begin studying with the OCA, this is part of the University for the Creative Arts but you can do it from home which will allow me to continue working as well!
→ Work with more companies - I've had a couple companies reach out to me already this year so I'm really looking forward to working with more brands to create content.

→ Create a list of book ideas - Writing a book is on my bucket list and although it's not something I plan to do yet, I would like to think of some potential ideas and themes.
→ Guest posts - I've done a few guest posts previously and would like to do more to build up my portfolio. I'd also like to contribute to places like Buzzfeed since it's a platform I use frequently.
→ 4000 followers on Twitter - I'm almost at 2500 so 4000 is a little ambitious but it's my quickest growing platform and I definitely want to continue connecting with more people. I always find Twitter the best place to do that!
→ 1000 followers on Instagram - I began focusing on the Instagram account I made for blogging much more last year and it's beginning to grow a bit more now. At the moment I have almost 730 followers so would really like to hit 1000 this year.
→ 800 followers on Pinterest - I also tried to use Pinterest a bit more last year and it's definitely something I need to focus on again. I have around 570 followers right now so would like to reach about 800 this year.

→ Develop photography skills - I got a new camera for Christmas and also want to base some of my degree around photography so I definitely want to learn more about the technical side of it.
→ Create a list of go-to recipes - I enjoy cooking and love food, but I'm also very indecisive so that can be a pain when choosing what to eat. I'd love to create a list of meals for all times of the day that I know I love.
→ Start a monthly creative feature - Whether it be a piece of art I've produced, some calligraphy and typography or even some photos I've taken recently, I'd love to share it on my blog every month. I stopped creating as frequently after finishing school so hopefully, this will help me to get back into a routine!
→ Continue saving up - I really want to travel so I have been saving up for a while now, I'm making great progress and have got pretty good at not buying things for the sake of it too!
→ Visit cities I've not been to before - I’m always up for going to new places and I’d really like to visit some different cities, even ones in the UK that I’ve not been to before.
→ Better sleeping pattern - This is something I’ve been trying to work on for a while but I hope that with a better routine, I’ll be able to sort out my sleeping pattern a bit more!
I don’t like to put too much pressure on goals but it is nice to have something to look forward to, I think I’ll check back on them halfway through the year to see how I’m getting on! I’d love to know if you have any resolutions or goals for 2019 too!
You have some great goals for the year ahead. I also need to work on my sleeping pattern. Good luck with all of them
