Turns out we're in August already, I'm not sure where this year has gone but here we are. A few days ago I watched the trailer for the new series of The Great British Bake Off which I definitely associate with Autumn. Seems like we're well on our way to the end of the year already! Anyway, before I get ahead of myself here are a few things that I enjoyed through July. Experience I saw quite a lot of different family members this month, we went to a christening and then spent some relatives on my Mum's side - she has a huge family who are fairly spread out and I hadn't seen a lot of them for quite a few years so it was nice to see some familiar faces! Towards the end of the month, my Uncle and younger cousins - Rudi and Aya visited. He is 3 and she is about 6 months now, I hadn't seen them since March so it was amazing to see how much they had both grown, he is quite the joker and she has just changed completely since she was so tiny last time we saw

Isn't it mad that we're halfway through 2018 already, or as I like to think - halfway to Christmas again, haha! I'm sure I always say this, but it really feels like this year has gone by so quickly! May was a pretty good month, we had some gorgeous weather which always puts me in a great mood but I also find that when the sun is out, blogging tends to take a backseat which I really want to improve on over June! Anyway, here are my favourites for May! Lifestyle In my last favourites, I touched upon how I wanted to keep up with my Spring photography and like I just mentioned, we've been pretty lucky with the weather in May so that's something I've enjoyed doing a lot! It's been really lovely being able to spend more time outside and I've made the most of it by going on regular walks, it's a great way to relax and clear your mind and I've been able to take some great photos too! I honestly can't believe it is May already! It does not feel like it has been a year since my starting the exam season for my A Levels, good luck to everyone starting any exams by the way! Anyway, April went by pretty quickly and the weather was all over the place, however like always there were definitely some things I enjoyed through the month! Spring Photography - The weather has certainly been all over the place however we had some really lovely days at the end of April and I managed to get out and about to enjoy it! I love taking photos and my hometown has some gorgeous spots so I couldn't resist going on an evening walk, I really hope I can build up a nice collection of photos in the coming months! Fashion - Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a large collection of striped tops in my wardrobe. March is always a pretty busy time, it's known as the 'birthday month' in our family because between the 1st and 21st, 7 of us have celebrated our birthdays! This means that there is a lot of family time, a lot of presents and a lot of cake which is a pretty good mix - plus there are loads of things I've been loving this month so I'll get started! Weather Something I had to mention in this monthly favourites was the rather strange weather we had! We'd not had any decent snow since 2013 and then we had multiple snow days in March, so I think it's fair to say that Spring was delayed! I actually really like the snow, it's so amazing to look out at, especially when it is untouched! Although I did slip over on the ice, straight on my back...so that wasn't as great! As you may know from my previous post, it was my birthday recently and as I always enjoy reading what gifts other people received, I thought I would share mine too! As I get older I find it increasingly harder to decide what I actually want so I'm so grateful for everything I did get! Bath Set One of my presents from my sisters was this bath set from the Scandinavian brand Hugg. Little sets like this one are the ideal birthday gift for when you don't want anything in particular and I've never used anything from them so I'm excited to try it out! I also think the packaging is so pretty, it's pretty minimalistic but that's definitely the sort of thing I'm into at the moment. I wouldn't say I'm massively into jewellery - you won't see me with an arm full of bracelets and I don't even have my ears pierced but I do have a few minimalistic bits that I love and enjoy wearing so I thought I'd share them with you today! Pandora Entwined Hearts Ring  This was a gift from my boyfriend on my 16th birthday and I have worn it every day since, in fact, I can't really imagine not wearing it now! We had only been together for 6 months and after being together for well over 3 years, it is definitely one of my most special pieces of jewellery. I'm desperately trying to hold on to every last bit of Christmas so here are some of the things I loved throughout December and the festive period! I swear it goes by quicker every year?! Beauty - Now I'm stripping it back to basics here as this month I have been so thankful for my trusty Vaseline lip balms. Now they aren't a new favourite by any means but in the colder months when your lips tend to be drier, a good lip balm is essential and Vaseline is my go to! I love all the scents but I tend to use the Aloe Vera and Rosy Lips most often, I've always got one of them close to hand! Another thing that is always needed during the winter months is hand cream, the Nivia Express Hydration hand cream is great for day to day use, I also have a Ted Baker one that I like as it smells amazing! T.V/Movies - Moving on to what I've enjoyed watching this year, and I have to say that of course I did spend most of December watching Christmas movies (Elf is my fave) but

Happy New Year everybody! I can't believe it is 2018, the last year went so quickly! After having a break off around Christmas I am back and ready to start blogging again. Before I get into my plans for the year I thought I would share what I got for Christmas this year! Like everyone, I'm not bragging - I am very grateful for everything of course!! I've always enjoyed seeing the gifts people have received so here are a few of the things I got! One of my main presents and something I was really looking forward to opening is my new graphic tablet. I love getting creative and have been interested in developing my digital art skills for a while so this was the perfect gift for me. I got the Chuwi 12" tablet which is such a great size and runs on Windows or Android, the stylus has great pen pressure recognition and I've found it so easy to draw with. Maybe in the future, I'll share some of my work, once I've experimented with it more! Something else
